The JR Osaka Loop Line and extensive Osaka Metro network connect you to nearly every major attraction, often within a 10-minute walk of the nearest station. Osaka also serves as an ideal base for exploring the Kansai region. From Osaka Station, you can reach Kyoto , Nara , or Hyogo prefectures in under an hour by train. Shin-Osaka Station – Connecting Osaka to the Tokaido Shinkansen (Bullet train) line from Tokyo. From Tokyo, you can easily access Osaka on the Shinkansen line. This will take 2 and a half hours, and cost a little under 15000JPY one way. You can use the JR Rail Pass to cover the cost of this trip. There are also 2 major airports in Osaka, Kansai International Airport, and Osaka Itami Airport.
